Taxi services are expensive in The Valley and the drivers usually quote the fares in US dollars, not EC dollars, also the rates are set by the government. A fare from the Wallblake Airport to The Valey cost me once about 6 US$. If your fare is between 6 pm and 6 am, then you will pay 2 US$ extra. If I would hired a taxi for 2 hours tour of the island, I would paid 40 US$ for 2 persons. The dispatchers are mostly at the airport, tel 4975054 or ferry, tel 4976089.
